FAQ's

How often does the ferry run?

Our ferry is called The Corloughoroo and it runs on demand all day from 8am until 9pm. However, if you need it outside of these times, you can contact our bar staff or night porter or dial '0' from the phone in our mainland car park.  It only takes about 3 minutes to cross, there is no need to book and it's free of charge.  Staying guests are permitted to bring their car over to the island but we can only fit two cars at a time and the maximum weight is 4 tonnes.  Please be aware that during busy times (ie. check in) there may be a queue for the ferry so in order for you to begin enjoying your stay with us at your earliest convenience, we recommend parking your car in our mainland car park. In severe weather conditions, you may be advised to leave your car on our mainland carpark and arrive to the island on foot.
